Tale of Sunday

Tale of Sunday

Theme: Super Sunday Yeah! It's Sunday Granny comes to its storytime. No homework, no tuitions, no coding classes. Just your beautiful stories and ample of time with fritters, burgers, and Gulab jamun. Granny entered the room counting the beads of her rosary. Mom was, as usual, tired and busy with domestic chores. Granny stated kids, have you ever wondered how the days of the week got their names. We plan our schedule according to them. They shine from calender and mark holidays and birthdays. She continued saying that grandpa's best friend had read Bible so he told us the concept of the origin of the weekdays was the concept related to God's creation of the world because On the 7th day God finished the work and rested. In fact, ROman consider Sunday to be a pagan holiday. She further elaborated that The day (Sun-Day) is named after Sun, who is assigned lordship of the day because he rules lord at the time of Sunrise of that day. All the kids were excited to know the facts and story. Similarly, Granny suggested the way everyone needs a holiday. So your Mom too needs the one why not to make this Sunday a Super Sunday for her. Why not all of you clean, wipe and mop and I will make some fritters and Gulab jamuns for you. Kids, made a beautiful card for their mother tagging her as Super Mom, and to break the monotony the God of a home rested for a day and Sunday was declared as Super Sunday.
