On four shoulders I am Leaving everything behind Good, worst, or unkind. Affections, Enmity, and prejudice Is what I now reminisce. Family, friends, and foes Joys, sorrows, and woes. Dreams, ambitions, and career Desires, Hope, and barriers All worldly pleasures Are now my only treasure Everything is meaningless all of sudden. I perceive it as a burden I can see people grieving all around. Are these circumstances that profound? I question myself, what matters now? My heart replied when the wind sough. Only virtues, intentions, and actions No more ambiguities or frustrations You'll reap what you've sowed. Time is up, and you'll know. Nothing I can do but wait This bitter realization is grating. On my way to unfold another life I'm leaving everything behind.
