Q1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession and an avid reader and writer by passion. I have been blogging since 2009. My posts are inspired by my experiences with nature, society, and the people around me. The main intention is always to give some message and inspire me while writing it.  I am launching my debut novel- Lifeline.
Q2. How did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
Writing a story gave me a fresh look at my inner self as I realized my thinking pattern which I  never realized before. It opened my thought process to new horizons and I have become more organized.
Q3. If you could tell your younger writing self, anything, and what would it be?
Self-belief and patience is the key to achieve anything.
Q4. What does literary success look like to you?
I would like people to read my book and give me constructive feedback. Also, if they take one good thing from the book,  then my purpose would be solved.
Q5. Does your family support your career as a writer?
Yes, it is not possible without a family’s support. At this point in time, it is more of a passion than a career option.
Q6. What one thing would you give up to become a better writer?
I would have to be more disciplined to write daily.
Q7. Who’s your Inspiration in the literary field?
The two authors that inspired me the most are Arthur Hailey and Ayn Rand.
Q8. What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning a book?
I would not say that a specific time is required for research, what I believe is a clear understanding of the topic is of utmost importance, and I stop researching the moment I realize I have that.
Q9. What’s the turning point of your life when you realize you want to be an author?
It changed my routine because discipline and self-belief are the two important characteristics to be an author. I had to let go of several other things to pursue my passion.
Q10. How long on average does it take you to write a book?
This is my first book, but I think a year and a half is a good time to write a book.
Q11. What are your favorite literary books?
I like The Secret, The Fountainhead, Wheels, Godfather, The Design of everyday things and there are many more. Each book brings a different perspective to the life.
Q12. Why have you selected to write in this genre?
I wanted to write on a contemporary topic with which people can easily relate. My book also has a love story because I think love is an important element of one’s life.
Q13. Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
Yes, there are some secrets and people with a good knowledge of that topic and imagination can easily see that.
Q14. Do you view writing as a kind of spiritual practice?
Writing to me is like meditation. It connects me with my deepest thoughts.
Q15. What’s the best way to market your books?
I think word of mouth is the best way to market the book. And then online reviews and ratings obviously help.
