The "Corona Era" has been a turmoil of emotional, financial, and psychological circumstances in the entire world. It has stopped the world from breathing peacefully and liberally for 1 and a half years. It's not only depressing sitting indoors for days and months but drains one's emotional intelligence with the continuous fear of death and illness. Yet there's still a ray of hope! The old saying that "Every coin has 2 sides" is suitable in this situation. Although there has been a pool of drawbacks there have been a handful of benefits too.
Let's look at some of them:-
1. Family Time:-
The biggest advantage of staying indoors is spending quality time with family. To nurture this, I recollect the famous Bollywood movie dialogue": A Real Family is the Family that stays together, plays together and eats together". Kids can spend abundant time with their parents, siblings as well as Grandparents. Family members can enjoy cooking, cleaning, dining, praying, and even playing together. Besides one can save time and energy from traveling.
2. Me-Time:-
This is the most neglected and less emphasized which recently gained importance. It is observed that in the lockdown phase people have started spending quality time with themselves by engaging in various newfound interests and hobbies like Cooking or baking, art, and crafts, planting, physical fitness, reading novels, self-grooming, etc. Technology has been a boon in giving wings to hidden talents and passions.
3. A Breather:-
This Definitely cannot go unnoticed even by layman. that the world is breathing fresh air by people staying indoors. There have been weather reports and studies which claim that there has been a remarkable decline in the air as well as noise pollution since the vehicles and factories have been in sleep mode!
Some text messages which are doing rounds recently in almost everyone's phones and which has touched my heart and is apt here:-
" Don't Mess with Nature"
"Karma is a bitch!
Nature gives us back!
We're dependent on Nature and not otherwise!
If God shuts one door then opens a window
Hence it's possible to conclude that Every cloud has a silver lining and a Ray of Hope to cope with all circumstances.
